Day trip to the Yakima River Canyon

This past Saturday; Martha and I took a day trip to fish and explore the Yakima River Canyon. This is a beautiful river corridor and I am rapidly making plans to return there in the near future. I had numerous strikes but only landed one fish, a beautiful nine inch rainbow caught on a dry fly. That one catch made the whole trip worth it!

New Dropkick Murphy's Album

I picked up the new DKM album " The Meanest of Times" and this album is absolutely incredible. There are so many good tracks that it is disgusting. The song "Echoes on A Street" really hit home for me since I travel a lot for work. This album also reminds me of the old TIOBEC/ Southie crew. Those were good days and not forgotten, I think about you guys everyday. I may be a westerner by birth and lifestyle. I carry that "Boston" energy with me wherever I go. The only disappointing part is that the Dropkick's will not be stopping in Seattle on this tour- that is really too bad! Check out the website at www.dropkickmurphys.com!

The Mountains Win Again
